In May 2024, our beloved friend Noelle received news that no one should ever have to hear: she was diagnosed with stage 4 osteosarcoma. From that moment on, Noelle’s life took a turn into the unknown, but what has followed since is a testament to her unwavering strength, bravery, and unbreakable spirit.
The journey has been long and incredibly difficult. In October, Noelle faced the unthinkable—she underwent a hip disarticulation, losing her entire leg in a bid to fight the relentless disease. Yet, even as she fought this battle, Noelle’s courage never wavered. She continued to show strength and hope, even when the challenges seemed insurmountable.
This January, Noelle endured another daunting surgery, one that no one should ever have to face. The doctors removed one of her lungs and 54 tumors from her remaining lung in an effort to stop the spread of cancer. This surgery was brutal, but it was also a testament to Noelle’s resilience. As she recovered in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Noelle’s will to fight never faltered.
But last Thursday, an MRI revealed devastating news. Despite all of Noelle’s efforts and the intense medical procedures, the cancer had spread to her brain. The fight has become even more difficult, and the uphill battle seems steeper than ever. But even in the face of this heartbreaking news, Noelle remains determined to fight. She is a warrior, and we believe, with all our hearts, that she is going to win this battle.
The road ahead will be long, and Noelle and her family will need all the support they can get. This is where we come in. Noelle’s family cannot do this alone. They are facing not only the emotional toll of this fight but also the overwhelming financial burden of medical expenses. Every donation made will go directly to Noelle’s family, helping them cover medical costs, support Noelle’s ongoing treatment, and navigate this difficult time together.
